Frequently Asked Questions
What does a new patio cost in the Netherlands?
A professionally installed patio costs €80 to €150 per m² including materials and labour in 2026. Concrete tiles are the budget option; ceramic tiles (€60–€110 per m² material) are the most popular choice for their durability and low maintenance; natural stone is the premium option.
Do I need a permit for a fence or garden project?
Usually not. In a back garden, fences up to 2 metres high are permit-free in the Netherlands. In front gardens the limit is 1 metre. For corner plots the side garden often counts as a front garden, so check before building — we verify this for you as part of every fencing quote.
How long does a garden makeover take?
A patio of around 20 m² takes 1 to 2 working days. A complete garden renovation with paving, fencing and planting typically takes 3 to 7 working days. You receive a fixed schedule with the quote.
